Bharat is my home is a speech delivered by Dr Zakir Hussain. he was the third President of India. This is an extract from the speech he gave in 1967 after taking the oath as President. In his first speech as the President of India, Dr Zakir Husain pledges himself “to the service of the totality of India’s culture”.

Bharat is my home डॉक्टर जाकिर हुसैन के द्वारा दी गई एक स्पीच है। वह भारत के तीसरे राष्ट्रपति थे। यह 1967 में राष्ट्रपति पद की शपथ लेने के बाद दिये गये उनके भाषण का अंश है। भारत के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में अपने पहले भाषण में, डॉ. ज़ाकिर हुसैन ने “भारत की संपूर्ण संस्कृति की सेवा के लिए” वादा किया।

First of all he thanks Indians to elect him for the highest office in the land. Than he count Radhakrishna’s contribution to the presidency. he says that Radhakrishnan has given a mental equipment and a sound foundation of India.

सबसे पहले वह भारतीयों को देश के सर्वोच्च पद के लिए उन्हें चुनने के लिए धन्यवाद देते हैं। फिर वह राष्ट्रपति पद पर रहते हुए राधाकृष्णन के द्वारा किए गए योगदान को बताते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि राधाकृष्णन ने भारत को मानसिक मजबूती और मजबूत आधार दिया।

He pledges to preserve the constitution, the culture and the glory of India. He assures Indian to serve them without any religion or language discrimination. According to Dr. Zakir Hussain the prime source to develop India is education.

वह शपथ लेते हैं कि वह भारत के संविधान संस्कृति और गौरव की हिफाजत करेंगे। वह भारतीयों को बिना किसी धर्म या भाषा के भेदभाव के उनकी सेवा करने का यकीन दिलाते हैं। डॉ. जाकिर हुसैन के अनुसार भारत को विकसित करने का प्रमुख स्रोत शिक्षा है।

Dr Zakir Admits India as his home and its people are his family. He sees two aspects of work Social & Individual and suggests us to think for the development of both. And this is the only way to development of the India is possible.

डॉ. जाकिर भारत को अपना घर और यहां के लोगों को अपना परिवार मानते हैं। वह काम के दो पहलू देखते हैं सामाजिक और व्यक्तिगत और हमें दोनों के विकास के लिए सोचने का सुझाव देते हैं। और इसी मार्ग पर चल कर भारत का विकास संभव है

wherein he has pledged his loyalty towards India and successfully conveyed his message to Indians.
